I love books.

You’re smart. I’m sure you figured that part out. 

First, I would like to say thank you for stopping by. I started this blog in the hopes that I could do at least 1 of 3 things:

1. Inspire you to read, if you’re not a natural bookworm like myself. 
2. Connect you with new, amazing titles and authors if you are a veteran “bookie”.(It’s not a word. I just made that up).
3. Provide some insight into me – aspiring writer. book lover. tired mom. reluctant biologist. I have found that in learning about someone else, you often learn more about yourself.

Like many other readers out there, I have one or two favorite genres that I usually find myself sticking to. I would like to challenge myself to get step out of that box and experience more — and you along with me. To start, though, I’ll be taking a look at the ones that started it all. 

So if you’re interested in people, in stories, in an escape from the mundane world, then you have a home here. 

So, again, welcome! I hope you have the strongest cup of coffee, the most comfortable of chairs, and that you remember, in all things, to never judge a book by its cover.
